Phenix City, Alabama

Nathan was transferred to Phenix City, Alabama located between Montgomery (where his Grandpa Parkinson served) and Macon. His new companion is Elder Oldroid. Nathan is living with another companionship so 4 of them in an apartment. Phenix City has a population of around 30,000. It has a steel mill and a military base, Fort Moore. Not alot of stores but has a Walmart and Sonic. Nathan says the Sonic loves the missionaries and gives them free food all the time. While he is not use to small time, he is enjoying the change despite the slower internet. He enjoys playing card games and playing his guitar on P-days.
They had a zone conference where they received training from the Columbus Stake President. "Therefore let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord?
